Pour Over Lab | Water Science | Online Class
This 1-hour class is a guided experiment in how water quality affects your cup of coffee. Participants will brew multiple controlled pour overs using waters of various TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), and afterward, will cup and discuss results.
This short class is ideal for baristas and home brewers with some experience. Bring your favorite pour over setup and get some hands-on education about water science!
This class is being offered ONLINE and not in person. It is a remote learning class and is available to anyone with access to an internet-connected device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets).
Students will be asked to supply their own coffee dripper, filters, scale, and kettle.
Registration Cut Off Time For Class
Some class materials are included in the course fee and will be mailed to you. Please register before the cutoff time so we can mail out your class materials to arrive in time for your class date.
- For students outside of the United States: 10-14 days before class date
- For students within the United States: 7 days before class date
